The itestra HealthCheck is the structured first step to check comprehensively existing software systems or portfolios, including the associated development and maintenance processes. It is the basis for all further measures and strategies. The HealthCheck is a valuable and value-adding tool that reveals the cost drivers and flexibility constraints of existing software systems and recommends appropriate measures.

Based on the HealthCheck, the quality and profitability profile of the technical-organizational system context helps to optimize the use of future investments. The HealthCheck’s KPIs are determined using innovative tools, interviews with responsible persons and manual inspections. itestra experts develop recommendations for the improvement of profitability on the basis of a comparison of the results against benchmarks.

In addition, itestra creates a business case that analyzes the effort and benefits of the planned measures and depicts the planned implementation. For a large system, the HealthCheck is accompanied by an effort of about 20 person days on the part of itestra and about 5 person days on the customer side.

The subsequent implementation on the basis of the business case is also carried out by itestra on customer’s request. In order to guarantee a successful project and to ensure maximum cost control at all time, the implementation is carried out at a fixed price or according to earnings-related compensation. As a result, itestra takes full responsibility for the entire process and ensures that the HealthCheck is an opportunity for the customer.

Das auf Basis des HealthChecks erstellte Qualitäts- und Wirtschaftlichkeitsprofil des technisch-organisatorischen Systemkontextes hilft den Einsatz künftiger Investitionen zu optimieren. Die KPIs des HealthChecks werden mit innovativen Werkzeugen, Interviews mit Verantwortlichen und manuellen Inspektionen ermittelt. Darüber hinaus erstellt itestra einen Business Case, der Aufwand und Nutzen der geplanten Maßnahmen analysiert und die geplante Umsetzung abbildet. Ausgehend von einem großen System geht der HealthCheck mit einem Aufwand von ca. 20 Personentagen seitens itestra und ca. 5 Personentagen auf Kundenseite einher.

Die anschließende Umsetzung auf Basis des Business Case wird auf Kundenwunsch ebenfalls von itestra vorgenommen. Um ein erfolgreiches Projekt zu garantieren und dem Kunden jederzeit maximale Kostenkontrolle zu gewährleisten, erfolgt die Umsetzung zum Festpreis oder nach ertragsabhängiger Vergütung. Damit übernimmt itestra die volle Verantwortung für den gesamten Prozess und stellt sicher, dass der HealthCheck ausschließlich eine Chance für den Kunden darstellt.
